First, Let me introduce myself. My name is Shannin and I am not only a photographer but i am also a Mom, Wife-to-be, Instructional Assistant, Sister, and Best Friend. I began photography in 2005 - After obtaining my certificate in Photography in 2008, I began professionally photographing weddings, boudoir & portraits. While I do still photograph those sessions, I have decided to focus on boudoir and enjoy the journey while helping women all around the world experience a life-changing investment. If I am not photographing, you can find me hiking with my family, wedding planning (of course!) or hanging with my little man.

Let me tell you all about my first boudoir experience. Being a photographer for over 10 years, I never once caught myself in front the camera. I recently divorced and was coming out of a dark time in my life, I wanted to take a chance. I booked the shoot! I did my own makeup and hair. I made a plus size boudoir pin and began to gather my outfits. As i inched my way down the hallway, all I could think about was my imperfections.
Was I scared? oh yea! Would I do it again? Hell yea!
My photographer made me feel so comfortable from beginning to end, coaching me on poses - I felt so sexy! Afterwards, I couldn't wait to see my images. But I was also terrified. I could not believe my eyes when I seen my images!
I clicked the link to open my gallery for the first time. Was that really me? They weren't photoshopped and it boosted my confidence so much, I would totally do it again. It brings me back to when I felt sexy and beautiful, something I should celebrate more.
